Legitimate questions about Yasuo. Some of this doesn't make sense to me.
#These are legitimate questions, not a complain post. I decided to read the wikia and some of it doesn't make sense. (Also long post sorry)
- Yasuo's Steel Tempest (from wikia)
"On-hit effects are applied to the first enemy hit, including
Steel Tempest is unaffected by dodge and blind.
Steel Tempest is negated by parry and Aegis block.
Spell shields will block the ability."
So what is it. It's like an auto in that it applies on hits like spellblade and lifestea and critsl, but it doesn't get affected by blind or dodge. But then it's blocked by spell shields? But then it gets cooldown from attack speed, like an auto attack. So is it an auto or spell? Why make it like this?
- Yasuo's Windwall (from wikia) "Wind Wall's is a direction-targeted area of effect that slowly drifts forward over the duration, always casted at maximum range. This ability is considered to be a projectile for Unbreakable and Wind Wall."
Firstly, it's "direction-targeted", however it doesn't need to be cast in the direction of the projectile to block it, which I won't go into detail of right now because there are tons of posts complaining about it. Also, it says that it is cast at max range, but it starts at your player, so is max range on top of you? Or is "cast at max range" meaning will move to max range? And finally, wind wall can be blocked by wind wall. Why? That doesn't make sense, was there a reason during champ design?
- Yasuo's Sweeping Blade (from wikia) "Sweeping Blade is a unit-targeted, fixed-length dash."
Can't he use it to move through walls? Does that mean that he has to be on top of a target and dash into them with the wall right behind them?
- Yasuo's Last Breath (from wikia) " Spell shields will block the ability."
This really confuses me. How would you be able to utilize this? The knock up, whether it be Yasuo or someone else, will pop a spell shield, and from what I understand you can't spell shield during a knock up right? If I'm wrong on this one tell me, but otherwise how would you ever be able to spell shield? And "airborne". Turns out that things like Anivia's wall, Blitz's grab, Darius' apprehend, Naut's hook, Syndra's scatter the weak, Poppy's heroic charge, Thresh's hook, Vayne's condemn, and Lulu's wild growth are all considered airborne abilities, and can be ulted off of. None of the prior mentioned make sense to me.
#Can anyone give context or explanations to me? Remember, this isn't supposed to shit on Yasuo because he's OP or something, I just got really antsy because a lot of his wikia doesn't seem consistent with League physics.
