Arguement over balancing methods reflected by changes on Aatrox, Akali, and Galio

TL;DR Please don't try to balance a champion in ways of removing a mechanism for it. It just hurts diversity and fun. :)

I was just laughing so hard when I saw they tentatively removed revive from Aatrox Aatrox’s ultimate ability just after they change obscurity to invisibility on Akali Akali's w and disallowed using summoner 4 flash while charging Galio Galio'w on PBE.

I cannot agree with the method of removing a unique playstyle or ability mechanism to balance a champion. Even though the changes are tentative, It is going in the wrong direction from my perspective.

Back when Camille Camille was first released, I remember people had been talking about her being too strong for the array of abilities that were available to her. She has shield (from passive), auto-attack reset, true damage (from Q), heal, slow (from W), stun, dash (from E), is untargetable during the cast of R, which is extensively used to dodge some cc or skill shots, and the ability to trap enemies in an area. So, when she was first released, I remember ed her being the tier 1 champion at the time. She even got nerfed on a hotfix in the same patch. Then she got nerfed and buffed over and over again to a champion that I would consider relatively balanced today. But during the process, none of the ability mechanisms was removed from her (maybe the stun on monsters :D).

To think, this may be for the reason that those mechanisms on Camille are not unique unlike revive (Zilean Zilean also has it), obscurity and flash taunt (Rammus Rammus also has it). But I think champion power balancing should not the only job for balancing team, but diversity balancing as well. And, removing a mechanism, especially when it is the iconic mechanism for that champion :(, from a champion hurts diversity.

This is why I bring up the story about Camille. Adapting the way of nerfing Camille (nerfing stats) is a more preferable way rather than removing mechanisms. While I agree with the change in allowing tower sight to reveal Akali or kill to revive in Aatrox, I do not think to make Akali's shroud invisible or to remove Aatrox's revive is a good move.

These portions of the kits that they are removing are points in the kit that people find frustrating to play against not to mention the power budget that these abilities hold can be better put into other parts of the kit.

The fact that you're from na and don't know it's argument and not arguement is really depressing to me. These changes arent to ruin your DIVERSITY AND FUN! They are to stop having toxic as fuck kits lmao

The revive is the only thing about aatrox that he kept in his rework. This is really killing off a part of his identity. same with Galio and his flash taunt.

Old Aatrox exists in this new one even if the revive is gone. Case anyone forgot, but the one defining thing was his ability to heal in fights. When I think old Aatrox (and I loved old), I think that 100x more than the revive itself.
