Am I actually the only player who thinks Yasuo is fine?
Like, I never understood why he's been permabanned and despised by the community, especially after they nerfed Tanksuo. I have mained top lane throughout Season 6, played against Yasuo and his several iterations countless times, have even played him a few times (Though I suck ass with him), and... he's fine. Let me explain.

His skillcap is incredibly high. He's maybe not the hardest champion to learn how to play, but he's incredibly hard to learn how to play well. You have to do so many things on him; you have to know how to position, you have to know when to windwall, you have to be VERY accurate with your tornado or else you risk fucking it all up and getting instagibbed, you have to know how to airblade keyblade etc., you have to manage your dashes.... There's so much shit. Hell, I don't even really know how to play Yasuo either. I haven't played against that many people that know how to play him, and even the players that do know how to play him can still fuck up and lose. So no, Yasuo isn't "lol braindead easy". That's just wrong, and if you believe that, then you're a low elo player who's opinion is rendered invalid.

He has several counter picks. If you chose to play a champion that's weak to Yasuo or if your team drafted poorly against Yasuo, then you deserve to get punished accordingly. It's like drafting poorly versus Master Yi or Nasus, two other champions that have been victims to the same hateful circlejerk in the past. In lane, there are several duelists such as Jax and Fiora that are auto-lost matchups, melee bruisers such as Darius and Olaf that make his life hell, and even a few tanks like Nautilus and Poppy that can make his laning phase incredibly difficult. For midlane, lane dominant champions like Viktor and Annie are incredibly difficult for him to fight. Any CC support like Alistar and Thresh are difficult for him to deal with in teamfights, and he also struggles against stuff like Lulu and Karma that can peel him and effectively counter his engage. And there are even more good counters to him that I haven't bothered listing, in addition to just asking your jungler to shut him down (Lee Sin, Vi, Hecarim can all shut him down very easily). It's your fault alone if you pick something like Gnar, Nasus, Shen, Syndra, Ahri, or Vel'Koz against him and lose horribly in lane, or if you fuck up against him, or if you drafted a team comp with no CC, or if you picked Twitch jungle. Stop blaming Yasuo for being OP. Just... stop it.

His kit is NOT overloaded. God, I think I truly hate the people who go like "HURR DURR HES SO OVERLOADED WTF RIOT SO MUCH FREE SHIT UTILITY PLEASE GUT GG". So if he's really that overloaded, then,
Why does
get an AOE stun, a shield, tons of MS, AND a 1000+ damage AOE ultimate nuke that heals him for almost half of his HP?
Why does
get to insta-clear the jungle for FREE, a ranged 2 second stun, a huge 2 second Janna shield that deals a ton of AOE damage and slows them for 60% over three seconds on a SIX second cooldown after CDR, and a massive Tibbers that has a ton of MS, does more damage, tanks the tower for a solid ten seconds, AND knocks them up?
Why does
get FREE PERCENT BONUS AD per kill, free movement speed, a 4s Q nuke that deals a ton of damage, a fucking OLAF ultimate, and a THIRTY second ultimate that's a guaranteed CRIT when you leap on someone?
Why does
get an even more oppressive laning phase with an insane amount of mobility, safety, and the ability to literally TWO SHOT someone with her stupid ass W + empowered Q?
Why does
get over 9000 fucking range, a stupid OP laning phase and a godlike mid/late game, a god damn 3 sphere AOE stun, and a targeted 7 sphere NUKE that literally 100-0's ANY non-squishy?
Hell now that we're at it, why does
get to melt tanks with her true damage, ONE SHOT you with her Q crit, and remain near perma invis when fighting you because you can't pink ward her anymore?
Yasuo is a complete joke compared to champions like those. Okay, so he gets a passive shield for moving around. Big fucking deal. That shield sucks early game anyway and get popped by anything, and he NEEDS it in order to even have a chance at surviving in lane and during the mid game. So he gets a windwall. Big deal! That isn't even the most oppressive ability to play against... Like, have you played against Fizz? Have you tried to deal with Gangplank's ranged 1k damage barrel nuke, or with his insta cleanse that heals 30% of his HP? What about Jayce's EQ for half your HP as a squishy? What about Janna's shield that says "LOL good luck ever trading with this guy"? Yasuo's windwall is hardly OP, unless you specifically got countered by it. And honestly, who even gets hard countered by it... ADCs? Not if they don't try to 1v1 him or stand still and attack his windwall. Veigar? Champion sucks anyway. Manaless E dash? Only works when he has minions, not the most mobility, you played badly if you get dicked by it. Armor pen on his ult? Only if he builds crit now, and besides is it even that bad? Fiora gets a ton of true damage against tanks, Trundle gets to remove all of their resistances, yet Yasuo's the worst offender? I doubt it. Scales into the late game? Tons of champions scale well into the late game; this argument is completely invalid. Hell, there are plenty of champions that scale better than Yasuo does anyway.
So there, those are my reasons as to why Yasuo is fine. If anyone wants to try and rebut me, feel free; I'd like to see if I missed anything.
