How do I improve?

Hello! Apologies if I make some mistakes as this is my first post here.

I am a support pllayer who is hanging between silver 3 and 4. If I was a new player this would be fine for me but last season I reached gold 5 before the season got over. I was doing really well back then and had a decent kda. This season I have no idea what is happening to me. I try everything possible to win games and rank up. But I have been losing games almost consistently. I seriously have no clue what I am supposed to do. 8 have read guides and watched videos on how to improve as a support. I even ward a lot that by the end of the game my vision score is almost double than my teammates.

I seriously worried that if this keeps on happening I might be demoted to bronze. Please do take a look at my match history to point out what I have been doing wrong. My league name is ScubaKoopa on NA. http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=ScubaKoopa

Thank you in advance

Play just 1-2 champions but very good. Also try to find a duo adc player with synergies.

there has to be something particular you suck at or don't do at all despite it benefits, maybe it isn't even obvious to you what these are. Point being if you are doing everything you need to do and did it perfectly then you would be the best support player in the world. That is what you should be looking at.

Also its a good idea to play jungle and Adc because of how strongly these two roles behavior effects the success of a support both from your team and the enemy. Doing this can only improve your team work, strategizing, and consideration for your team members needs and the dangers imposed by enemies.

A good thing to do that I do is ping for your laners what I mean by that is in lower ELOs a lot of people are lazy in keeping track their lane opponent so since Im support im looking at the map more often than everyone else so when ever you see someone NOT in their lane just give the lane a little MIA ping and if one of your laners is pushed warn them with the ! ping.

Roaming can snow ball games out of control so if you do what you can to prevent them from happening other laners might not feed as hard. No promises though XD. but the best advice I can give you is try not to freak out about demoting you wanna play with a clear head and dont keep playing if you lose 2 times in a row take a break and come back.

Get a coach, or try to coach yourself via vod reviews.

On a side note: Maybe try playing a more carry oriented support like Brand or Zyra.

Sometimes, especially in lower elo, you just can't depend on your carry to do their job. Carry them yourself.

My only advice would be to pick smarter fights. Just because your mid or top goes into a 1 v 3 doesn't mean you have to try and save them. It seems like your team-mates have high kills and high deaths, which means they need to pick smarter fights. Just looking at match history its kinda hard to tell someone how to improve, but good luck![slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
