SoloQue Thoughts

Well hey guys! Who's excited to never experience soloque again?! NOT ME. I don't mind playing with people, in fact i like that you now have the option to play with a full squad. Oh wait... that's Ranked Teams. So why is it that you can que up as a 5 man rank team, and likely play soloque'ers or duos or trios. Why not just play ranked teams so that there is a level playing field? Team of 5 vs Team of 5 = fair. In the announcement they show us graphs of the winrates of premade 5's vs duos,ect. Clearly detailing that premades were winning about 58% of games vs non 5's. Now some how 5's win about 54 ish percent of games. 54-46. That's the difference between climbing and falling. You are at a CLEAR disadvantage if you que up solo/duo. Imagine if red side had a 55% winrate.. I know that whatever side of the map ends up being your base is left to chance, but what if this were the case? How many people would dodge knowing that they were on blue side? How many people would dodge knowing that they're up against a team of 5s? Surely, though, that type of advantage would be far to obvious to us summoners, thus removing or nerfing whatever gave that red side the advantage. How long do we have to wait for this playing field to be level?
