As an adc main should I feel threatened by the new morde?

Is the new mordekaiser rito's way of saying the time of marksmans monopolizing bot lane over? What's next bot lane volibear? Are they trying to improve "diversity" or something.

I rather like ADCs being shoved the hell out of bot lane. That gives more room to things like Varus/Tristana mid, and Vayne/Quinn top, and other such things. In exchange we get to finally see something interesting in bot lane for pretty much the first time in 4+ years.

Who knows, maybe full-time roaming supports will become a thing eventually, if they aren't always stuck babysitting people down in bot lane.

its rito saying "fuck balance, lets just let dragon tank a turret and let morde one shot you"

hopefully. you cant balance marksmen as long as they only lane against each other and basically do the same thing in the end.

youll always have the 2 or 3 marksmen who are the strongest in lane and hence the only viable ones, as theyre more likely to snowball faster into lategame as the other members of their class. this will never change as long as marksmen are locked up in bot lane exclusively.

what needs to happen is

a) that the game needs to get rid of marksmen as a mandatory factor in each team and give us the ability to go into a game completely without one. they need to work like any other class of champion in this regard.

b) from there on, marksmen should be made viable (while not overwhelming) in other lanes.

this will overall increase the diversity of the champions theyre facing, and the diversity of marksmen that can be viable at the same time.

i think they made a good first step into that direction.

I wouldn't be threatened outside of people taking your role in champ select to play Morde bot lane and not accomplishing much in laning phase.
