A free win, two wins, two losses? How do I get out of my promos?

Lost my first promos in Bronze I. A pop-up appeared and told me that for my next promos I would get a free win. I got 2 wins and 2 losses but i didnt get promoed? is their something wrong with my lol or i maybe i misunderstood? if i did misunderstand then tell me how i am suppose to climb?
