Idea for a New Poppy Ult

So I was thinking about how riot doesn't like Poppy's current ultimate, and I think I've found a solution. What I'm trying to think of, is something that can still have the same feel as Poppy's current ultimate, while not having the same effect.

Diplomatic Immunity-

Poppy targets an enemy champion marking them for 5 seconds. While the mark is active, Poppy deals 25/40/50% increased damage to the marked enemy champion, and Poppy takes 45/55/65% less damage from sources other than the marked champion (applies after valiant fighter). During the first three seconds of diplomatic immunity, Poppy can only be crowd controlled by the marked champion. If under the mark of diplomatic immunity an enemy champion is killed, Poppy continues to receive reduced damage for an extra 5/6/7 seconds after the champion is killed.

What I did, was take Poppy's current ult, remove the immunity from other champions, and keep the same feel by changing it to reduced damage. The idea of making the reduced damage apply after her passive, is to keep the feel of not being able to die when using diplomatic immunity. I added the 3 seconds of cc immunity from the rest of the enemy team, because that was part of what makes Poppy's ultimate so strong. When I noticed I needed something to compensate for the removal of invulnerability, I added increased duration of the reduced damage. Compared to her current ultimate, this seems a bit less toxic, and has a lot more counter-play/interaction.

If you have any constructive criticism, feel free to post it. Numbers are subject to change.

I like this idea, as right now, a lot of Poppys don't use their Es for the stun and burst, more for catching up, which inevitably leaves them alone in the middle of the enemy team, lacking the burst to kill someone before her ult runs out. This way, if you miss your E, it won't be a crippling death.

Any ideas for better numbers?

i love the idea of the extra reduced damage after killing the champ because god if i die 1 more time from using it and someone kills my target while i go for the rest of the team and it ends i will kill a teemo.

im iffy on the reduced damage over immunity because it resembles her passive a tiny bit and it gives the whole enemy team more reason to focus you when fights happen. when before they would be punished for focusing poppy over the rest of her team while it goes on.

Heyo, Roran here. I really like the initial concept of your changes, though I feel they still do not affect the issue of counter-play. Personally I was thinking along these lines.

Poppy targets an enemy champion marking them for 8 seconds. While the mark is active, Poppy does 25/40/50% increased dmg to and takes increased dmg from the targeted champ. Only the marked champ can target poppy, and only Poppy can target the marked champ. Diplomatic immunity ends if Poppy hits another target other than the marked champ. If Poppy kills the target, then the dmg buff lasts ?/?/? more seconds.

This to my mind is a great way of interesting counter-play between Poppy and her target. The damage amp for the other person gives them a shot at killing Poppy, but also makes her passive relevant in the late game, as the immense damage she takes means less to her. Poppy has her own choices to make now too. If she ults the wrong person and they get away from her, they can attack her team with impunity; is it worth being immortal if her target is too? However, if the other person gets scared and runs away, then you have already done your job. It even solves the problem of her using her ult to wreck the entire enemy team, by making her vulnerable when she hits another target.

Anyways, these are just my thoughts. I hope they do my yordle justice when the rework comes out! PS: I have a post called All About Poppy, would you mind if I shared the link here, or if I shared a link to your post?
