there is a massive flaw in riots agenda to support early aggression

and i dont know if they even realize.

turret plating granting a shitload of gold, scuttle crab being a contested objective that carries a load of the xp and gold for junglers, even simple mechanics as making cannon minions worth a ton of gold in lane to make people fight over them.

champions arent all equally strong.

i repeat.

CHAMPIONS ARENT ALL EQUALLY STRONG.

especially not in relation to each other. counterpicks exist.

its the common occurance, that between two laning champions one of them is significantly stronger than the other one at early stages of the game. one of them is usually reliant on not playing aggressive because he will not win aggressive plays and feed. its incredible that you have to type things like this out for the live balance team, because this should be common knowledge.

so by "rewarding early aggression", youre just rewarding the stronger guy who is already at an advantage, for picking the "right" champion, as he is the one who can afford to play aggressive while the other one cant. thats it. youre helping the stronger guy in lane to become stronger faster. youre not giving an equal advantage to both players and let the player with the better lane mechanics win, even if hes at a lane disadvantage.

being the better player in this scenario does not mean to win fights with the weaker champion against the stronger champion. it means playing the lane out without playing aggressive in the first place, and not dieing to your opponent so you have a chance to scale. every time youre "rewarding early aggression" you make this less and less possible and the games more decided by picks and counterpicks.
