Subtle but significant inconsistency with WIndspeaker Blessing Mastery

Torrence·12/30/2015, 5:49:22 AM·129 votes·4,892 views

When you are selecting your masteries before the game starts and you hover over Windspeaker Blessing, it just reads "Your heals and shields are 10% Stronger," however, when you enter the game, the mastery reads "Your heals and shields on allied champions (excluding yourself) are 10% stronger."

The difference in each of these messages is huge. I don't think I need to explain why that's the case. I would recommend sticking with 1 message for both.

A few games ago my team had a Sion running Windspeaker's Blessing because he thought it would buff his shield. He and the ADC then got into an argument about whether or not it worked with his own shield. The description definitely needs to be clarified.

I've tested it multiple times on many champions such as Aatrox and Vlad. Every single time my self-healing was increased. I'm like 99% sure that the in-game tooltip is the one that is incorrect.

Not saying it does work, but why does the Mastery say "Your heals/shields are 10% Stronger. Your heals/shields on other allies increase their..."? It suggests that your heals/shields are stronger for you too, but they don't increase your armor.

Yeah the In-Game tab screen is incorrect and isn't updated (in most cases anyways). Thunderlords still has a 30 second cool-down in the In-Game Tab screen.

Grasp of the Undying could use some clarity too. "Every 4 seconds in combat your next attack" - What it says "While in combat, every 4 seconds your next Basic attack" - What it should say

Tried this mastery on Karthus for shiz and gigz. . . . item 3070

The Keystone is supposed to grant increased heal and shield to everyone, but the extra Armor and Magic Resist only to others.

It's also bugged as hell. In my last game, Alistar was getting the defense buffs.

Ran it on a game with Yorick and noticed the difference in text. I didn't notice an increase in my heals.

I've been running this shit on Nautilus but i don't even know if there's a difference.

What annoys me is I know it actually heals you and every fucking game some ignorant smart ass who hasn't done enough research is like.

"LOL VLAD TROLLING KEYSTONE BLAH BLAH BLAH IMMA FUCKING RETARD!"

I used to explain, but I can't be fucked writing a paragraph every game.

So now I just say "don't speak from ignorance idiot"

Well, which is it?

If you want to actually increase "SELF HEALING AND SHIELDING" you need to go into the Resolve tree. The Ingame text for windspeaker's blessing is correct. It's meant to be the "Supports" keystone.

The Resolve Tree mastery that increases all healing/shielding/regeneration effects is the one you want to get if you want to increase self sustain. It's the reason I go 0/18/12 for most all my supports that have a healing/shielding effect.

lol that explains why I see many strange champions with windspeaker

Lucifer12/30/2015, 2:30:54 PM1 votes

Doesn't work on self heals - Otherwise Mundo would take it every single game.

I'd recommend sticking with the client one, as thats how it currently works.
