Subs for Clash. An Emergency tool

I talked to Tank from Riot about the issue of subs and how you can only have one account being subbed. Tank explained the sub system as being for emergencies only, so hence the 1 sub rule. In my case though we had 2 players who genuinely couldn't play on the last day (Sunday) due to work and school stuff. We found two awesome people who agreed to fill in last minute, but then we came to realize that we could only sub one person out. In our case it was considered an emergency, but as tank explained, it's used for 1 person emergencies. Thankfully we were able to get one of our players to log onto a computer at their work and play, but because of being at work and such, it didn't go too well. The real problem here is that, what if two people HAD to leave out of the blue unplanned, and couldn't find a way to come back. That's heartbreaking because after all the time put into clash, you can't fight in it, and you technically forfeit. I'm not sure how an emergency like this could be solved, because having two subs, could be abused in many different ways, but at the same time i'm sure many would benefit from 2 subs. Very tough spot, I understand. If anyone has suggestions, I mean, shoot your shot. (also, one of our players did not intend to leave, so before commenting that we should have made sure that everyone could play, we did ;) but when work calls, ya gotta go XD.) Thank you for your time.
