Will we ever get 5 bans?

There's 130 or so champions to pick from, and the list won't get smaller. Will Riot ever have 5 bans per team? I feel like that would cut down on the complaining regarding ''OP'' characters. That way if my mid lane doesn't want a Zed because the idea of or seems too complicated, they can just ban instead.
