@ Riot Concerns about the new Plant System.
Disclaimer: I am a rather new player, meaning that I'm of course not an expert on the jungle or the game in general, however I wanted to make a thread stating worries that I have involving the possible results if the new "Plant" system being implemented in season 7 fails. As well, all of what I'm saying is in the event that the Plants prove to be non-beneficial to League, and is meant, not as a rant, but one player who enjoys the game and only wants what's best for it.
Recently a player by the name of CaptainMarvelous posted this thread (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/zQQXbIzx-riot-please-dont-make-the-same-mistake) to which Rioter Meddler stated "If plants flop and we can't find a way to make them work we'll pull them." along with some information about the new system. As a question to this point, Riot, will the pull be a quick one and will it bring back the smite buff system? Now to clarify, I'm not saying that this system is definitely going to be awful. Despite the fact that I, like what seems to be the majority of the community, are skeptical that these changes will achieve what they set out to do, given the info seen so far, (I would prefer if things in this area stayed the way they are, as, to me, the current method using smite buffs is one I think works well and does bring a decent amount of strategy into clearing, i.e. "What buff would be most important at the time and thus for me to use my smite on?" and "If I have an PvP smite do I use it on this enemy or save it for an objective?" along with more. As well, the plants so far don't seem like they're important enough to really contest, appear rather situational, and overall don't seem to have that great of a purpose), I'm not apposed to trying this new idea out. If the company would like to test it, OK, if it turns you to surprise us and be good, cool, but in the case that the vast majority of the community doesn't like the Plants and there is not an immediate way of changing it so that it apples to the player base, please don't delay bringing back the smite buffs and dropping the Plants. I understand that me writing this one post is not going to 100% ensure/enforce this request however, I made it as I wanted express that I'm concerned about how not removing this feature, if it proves to be bad for the game, might effect League, (seen by the already load anger it has caused), and do so in as calm a fashion as possible. There are many really interesting sounding things coming up in season 7 (Replay System, Upcoming Reworks, etc.) and I would like it to be as great as possible. Once again, (TL;DR by the way) I'm not oppose to you guys trying out the idea, but simply hope that if the backlash from when it is released is mostly negative you don't wait till the next season to revert the change, as I fear it could effect the longevity of the game and company.

P.S.S. I'm well aware that I'm not the only one saying/thinking this however I simply wanted to express my worries as well
P.S.S.S. I as well apologize if me saying that this addition could harm the "longevity of the game and company" is somewhat of an over-reaction, it's just League is a game I rather enjoy and hope I can do so for much longer.
