A New AP/Armor Item?

ever since edge of night has been added, and due to its valuable stats it has been abused a lot lately, especially by champions like assassins, usually assassins should be playing around cc not ignoring it completely, being a mage means you have to plan your combos accordingly but when vs an assassin who can buy this item and easily ignore your combo is quite devastating and by the time u respawn they their spellshield ready again. Edge of night 60 ad 35 mr 15 lethality 30 second spellshield passive that lasts for 10 seconds and takes 1.5 seconds to channel

can be bought with and optional Total Mr: around 120 (due to melee assassins having scaling mr naturally)

Zhonyas 75 ap 45 armor 10% cdr (so you can go oom 10% faster since your jg wont give you blue) active grants you invulnerability and untargetable for 2.5 seconds (but when your alone which you should be they're just gonna wait out your zhonyas) Total armor: around 110(with natural armor) or around 35 armor due to lethality exceeding the armor zhonyas gives(max lethality is around 90)

Has no friends, lonely Zhonyas i would buy a or but the benefits of the mr ad items actives and passives would negate the magic pen due to you having to waste a few spells to being able to get rid of their defenses, if u cant stop them from moving, you prob wont kill them either. the only mages that benefit from armor is usually Ryze or swain but mainly because of the mana gives the rest of the mages rely on a cc spell to set up their combo, but usually are negated by heavy mr or a 30 sec spellshield Builds for ap Zhonyas + Void first + Sorc boots = Oom Zhonays + Morellos = not enough damage to kill them due to mr notice i don't add ninja tabis due to assassins not needing to AA as much Morellos + Void + Sorc Boots= No defense Muramana + Roa + Morellos = Ad damage so you dont have to care about their mr but mainly effective on Syndra due to her ult. Sorc boots(15) can be built with Liandrys(15) + 7 from Masteries and 10 from runes totaling to 47 magic pen + 35% with a void

Builds for Ad EoN + Maw = Spellshield, Magic Shield ,and 85 mr basically the only items you'll get EoN + Maw + Merc = Dive anyone you want + 110 mr or more if u have scaling mr naturally EoN + Merc = no use to use cc

EoN is very commonly built with Ghostblade and Duskblade totaling to 50 lethality + 9 from runes and 9 from masteries + 30% with BC + 45%(bonus armor) with last whispers upgraded parts 60% of your lethality is given to you from the start and 40% of the rest as your opponents level rises

These Scenarios are for 1v1 situations not team situations so dont say stuff like "just zhonyas and wait for your team to help you" my team could help me if they are near but they would have to deal with the billions of escapes assassins already have (especially Talon) also they tend to build Edge so good luck trying to catch them.

Edge could eventually get a Nerf but it was buffed recently due to it being weak, but if it is nerfed, it would be weak again and then they'd buff it again then it would be buffed again. Edge might potentially be removed or reworked due to its statistics and balancing issues.
