A good way to open bot lane up

would be making offensive support items cater less to ADCs

nearly every item that buffs a teammate caters to attack speed or auto attacking. Censer heals you as an on hit which makes it poor for casters and low attack speed champions, and the new Zeke's only takes AA damage, which very clearly caters to crit champions (marksmen). you can consider Abyssal mask a support item, and it's a welcome exception since it bolsters magic damage dealers, which include 2 marksmen kogmaw and corki.

defensive items are actually quite good about this. Bruisers for example make extremely good use of knight's vow on them, better than an ADC, and locket/redemption are indiscriminately valuable.

zekes at the very least should change to ALL forms of damage, and more offensive support items to cater towards casters or bruisers would be a good first step toward making it more welcoming to non marksmen
