New que idea for practicing matchups

I think it would be cool to have a ques for 1v1 and 2v2 so you can practice matchups. Like if i got promoted to gold and i main panth but feel im getting beat in lane too often, i would stop playing ranked and do some 1v1 ques. Would be even cool if the system matched you with people in your current rank, but the que itself is not ranked. Even bot laners can duo que and get really good together against any matchup. Would make ranked a better experiance because players will be better and have a place to learn
