Placement Matches (questions)

Sup fam,

My main account (Gimme Your Swag) was plat 4 before I stopped playing on it. I created a new account for the start of season 7 and I have a few questions about the placement matches. So.... what happens if you go 0-10 in placements? I've read a few things and so far I understand that the rank you end up with is based on your mmr. So it matters if you are a returning player (played ranked in more than one season).

My new account is... a NEW ACCOUNT. So it has no ranked history. If I go 0-10 in placements, will I get placed in Bronze 5? Although this probably won't happen, I'm still curious for the sake of science.

If a Riot member could confirm what is right and what is wrong that would be great.
