Bard, kit Thematics feel off.

So i was playin some Bard and having a fair amount of fun despite feeling terribly under powered. the roaming chime collecting was fun and the sound effects were interesting. However, the more i played him the less fun he became as i started realize how unthematic his kit was. keep in mind this thread has nothing to do with balance, this is purely about theme.

lets start with the Q The Q is a binding leash tether thing, this type of magic seems to contradict Bards free spirited roaming nature. I dont see him using binding magic. I would have rather seen something like a dash that knocks people aside, or a channel from his horn with some sort of soft aoe cc effect.

His W is kind of in theme, but seems like people would build shrines for him.. not the other way around. leaving an artifact or chime or cluster of meeps would have felt better/more in line. Possibly some sort of slow heal over time artifact that can be activated for a burst heal, but activating it is abusive so Bard takes it back(artifact is consumed, goes on cooldown, etc..)

his E, im gonna say this is in theme, but i think it could be better. Bard doesn't seem like the type to intentionally give rides or get directly involved with conflicts. The portal should have a zone in front of it, if you touch the zone you get sucked in and go on a magical journey rather you wanted to or not.

his R is way off theme.... its a stasis, i mean cmon, thats what zileans reworked ulti should be, not bards. this is time magic. Bards R should be related to a constellation or his ability to stride through dimensions. something zone controly that maybe ramps up with chime count. Whatever it is, it should seem like a big deal when it goes off.

the passive fits nicely

i feel like the roaming play style of Bard would feel better if he were causing chaos while collecting artifacts, rather than collecting artifacts while causing chaos(subtle difference there). the idea is that thematically he shouldn't feel like he directly targeting players, but instead the players are just getting caught up in his powerful wake as he moves to protect/collect artifacts. (game play wise you will obviously be targeting players)
