I came back to League today after 3 years of not playing, and let me say....

Nothing has changed. This is the most toxic game I've ever experienced, and I'm not young. Even today in year of our lord 2020 the banning system is so misguided that in every game I played today someone simply said "Surrender or I'm AFK" and that works . score is 10-12? Surrender or I'm gonna Troll. This is in a ranked game. People like that should simply be banned from ranked entirely for like a year.

I can report people for cheating in PUBG and they actually get banned. You say one politically incorrect thing in reddit and mods ban you. But here? Nah.

It still takes 5 mins to get into a game, takes 1-5 mins to load a game because in 2020 you still can't put the slow connection / CPU people together. And why does this game take so long to load? I can load high powered graphical games aster then this. This game is like 10 years old.

The game itself is still great, but I come back after all this time and Im immediately reminded why I left.

I've been having very pleasant games recently tbh

Maybe its because I'm showing face a lot more to leave good impressions.

Game is still shit because of unavoidable mini events (rune effects) & permanent dragon buffs

Agreed. It's pretty ironic to have people banned for pretty much anything they type nowadays when afk's, trolls or griefers fuck around. I have no problem with toxicity; I like it. It's a part of online gaming for me, and I wouldn't be playing league without it.

However I don't think the game is great, for me it's not doing very well. And to be honest here, nobody would think the game is good if they were in my shoes. They destroyed both my lanes, they released a whole bunch of cancer champions, and now they forced me to become a metaslave to win. It's simply impossible to win by playing normally. In top lane getting first pick is like losing the game because you will get counterpicked in a heartbeat. The jungle is shit and xp gains are all over the fucking place. I honestly don't know what they're trying to achieve at this point.
