Team fighting breakdown? ((thoughts)Low Elo))
Hi guys, Just wanted to put my thoughts "on paper" when it comes to team fighting.
-
what's your role in a team fight, who should you be trying to pick/focus. These questions answers will tell you where should be and what you should be doing and to whom. lets say im
zed, and hoping im not trolling and going full AP
, I know im an assassin maybe even able to brawl, to a degree. This is my position identifier, I shouldn't be anywhere near the front line im a walking ultimate waiting to happen, as to the second question, enemy adc's and mages are my favorite prey. Even while skirting the map I should look for picks. -
When is the team fight coming and who decides. Knowing when to team fight is just as important as knowing the above: Power in numbers is always a good way to prepare for a team fight if players are evenly built, not behind in levels and can set up easy positioning for a collapse; as to the second part, everyone decides, although using pings or text chat will help everyone out some players don't have great map awareness but with pings that weak point is covered, its not a yes or no, its more of "are we all in the right spot, is our jg below half Hp and top enjoying farming while TP is down?" then u should wait and reset.
3.Build Accordingly -Meta is always changing, I'll use
Ekko as an example he has had his ap and tank times to shine however both are great and versatile, so it only makes sense to build MR if he goes ap, Armor pen if he goes tank(did he go full armor or add MR in his build) all players should build specifically for the game you are in at that time.
- What happens after the team fight? What can we gain from this team fight For me, there can really only be one answer OBJECTIVES. Well break it down to how many enemy players have been killed.
**Five players down (Ace)- Congratz! you got the Ace the map is yours now, look at the enemy death timers and your lanes, do you have any pushed up or even some pushed back toward your' base. Right now Dragon is in a weird spot, some are good some are "meh", never chase "meh" over Baron. ** Four players down- This is just as great as the ace, Baron is still a very optimal gain here, one thing is to look to see who is the last man standing for them at the moment, the riskiest thing would be to lose Drake or Baron from a suicide steal so be weary!
Three players down- This is great, but did we lose anyone ourselves? if so who and what can we SAFELY get with this gain.
Two or One players down- Keep it up ,clear a wave but remember you have just created a reason for a gank in you lane or near you, remember to play consistent now, this could be your snowball.
Feel free to add points 5,6 etc.
