Veigar and his passive....

So, playing a lot of ARAMs lately and have noticed something that I've noticed for a while but never really brought up until now... I personally think that Veigar's passive is an awesome idea, but I also think they need to limit the amount of AP he can get from it. They could do this in two different ways that I can think of..

  1. They could cap the [passive] to a certain flat amount of bonus AP. or 2. They could make his [passive] and give him a certain % of bonus ap as additional ap.

What do you guys think? Are there other ways you guys can think of that could limit the amount of AP Veigar can get?

I seriously doubt, no offense, that Riot will ever balance champions with ARAM as a primary focus. Lots of champs are broken or just plain useless in ARAM, and games are determined pretty much in champ select.

Veigar's ap is merely a problem comparing to his aoe stun for eternity. Even if he just locks you inside it still gives him so much crowd control for such a long time.
