Good afternon/evening, I am writing here hoping that some people could tell me if I'll find it too odd and 'unplayable' from my days are way past (quit at the end of Season 2 after playing Season 1 from beggining - best ratio was 1700~1800 elo back on my time the meta was much less of a thing, games nowaways seems so much more serious, less lol/unbelivable moments to more standart style, my time bot could have whoever and anyone could 'support', heh my main were bot/top cho'gath and jungle yi/dps, so i wonder if i'll be capable of adapting and adjusting to what LoL has become. Just to ilustrate it a litte i took the liberty to add a little pull on what season you prefered.

I preferred season 2 because my role outright dominated to a degree of not being fun for the other roles. That being said, the downside of a game lasting this long is that a meta gets created and ranked is now more about following a plain that the pros made and not variety. It is part Riot's fault, part the the pro's fault, and part the community's fault.

You can play dps junglers, like Yi, it's doable.

But above certain rank it would mostly just cease to work (for the most part) considering currently the game is infested with new/some older champs who either has no cd, too much mobility, no meaningful counterplay or any of these 3 combined.

The itemisation is lacking, and they did deleted quite a few items for being "unpopular", like why would you do that? Also removing items they deem OP instead of nerfing, or straight gut items to the point it's just not viable for the most part like our current Warmog.

If they find someone dominating, instead of nerfing that particular champ, they nerf the whole class so that someone who was dominating is still, dominating only now on a smaller scale and the problem still persists. This would happen like 3 times each season or something, it doesn't change anything besides actually enforcing the meta even more.

In short, if you haven't played this game for long time I say try it out but I doubt you would like tbh.

S3 was a mess, S4 didn't have much going for it some new champs and a broken OP item that got removed afterwards, S5 has potential with all things considered but at the moment Riot is stabbing themselves in the toe for whatever reason.
