what is the point of ranked?
serious question, what is the point or should i say appeal of ranked?? especially because riot offers the "banning" system in a non ranked playlist? can someone show me the light?

There is no Ranked now that there's Dynamic Queue
You either play real Normals or you play reskinned Normals
There is no point. Unless you want to go pro, and even then, why bother?
Some people just want a sense of progression and improvement. Some want to be better than others. If you're not one of those, you're probably not gonna enjoy ranked.
Season rewards, trying to show your "skill", showing off to your friends.
You play ranked to bring your best to the table and know your opponents are bringing their best to the table. In Normals you'll get people trying new things when you're picking your best champ, or vise versa, so it's not the same sense of success.
