High elo players were right and a good player can climb despite feeders, trolls and AFKs.

So I just queue up for a game and sure enough as I've come to expect these days, I get feeders for what seems like the thousandth time. I had lost the game before because of....you guessed it....feeders. This game, I'd already resigned myself to the loss because this team I got just would not stop fucking feeding. And I knew that just like the dozens upon dozens of games before, they'll all insist we could win and never want to ff and start calling for reports when the reality sets in that we're not gonna win. I just didn't feel like going through that same song and dance over again. So instead of clamoring for a surrender like I always do. I just decided to accept the loss and find my own way to have fun.

I stopped thinking about farming. I stopped thinking about objectives. I was playing Quinn so I decide to just roam around the map wherever there was a fight or a skirmish and practice my mechanics and what not by trying to kill the enemy champions. I didn't care about dragons, towers, or CS. I already accepted that this team was pure garbage and was going to feed out the ass and we would lose so I just flew around the map just looking for kills.

What happened over the next 20 minutes or so opened my eyes to something I never thought possible. That individual skill can determine the outcome of a game despite how trash your team is. I was so single minded focused on getting kills that I ended up killing the enemy team so many times that my team were able to start taking objectives. During the course of the game my jungler got fed off kills I wasn't able to secure. Guys getting away with like 10% hp, he would secure and soon he started to carry as well because he got fed too. In what seems like no time we got all 3 of their inhibitors and a Baron. We smashed through their base and killed their Nexus with no problems. I ended that game going 19-1. Through all that feeding, I myself only died once.

Now, I've carried lots of games before as I'm sure we all have at many points. What was special about this game was that my team was pure pure fuckin garbage. Every lane was feeding and losing towers at a phenomenal rate, yet I was able to carry them so hard that the game eventually seemed easy. I've never carried a team this bad before so decisively to victory. And I realize now why high elo players come down hard whenever low elo players come here crying about bad teams.

Now I don't claim to all of a sudden be a Platinum player or anything but I know now that it is possible to carry any kind of team and I must learn how to do it in EVERY game. I will not be able to do this every game because I'm still a Silver level player but Diamond players can do this. This is why they are Diamond.

So the next time you think about blaming your team for your losses, remember this post. In low elo, Bronze, Silver, maybe even Gold, it is possible to for one player to climb through it regardless of what kind of team he gets.
