I usually do well dodging her q's but the moment I slip up I'm immediately dead, even if I'm healthy. Her range zones the hell out of me and I end up completely unable to apply pressure to the enemy ADC. It seems like I have to get qss 2nd just to not die in lane. Any experienced folks out there who can help me out?

All in her once she misses her Q, or once your support hits a hook or something. Flash the Q if you have to. She's weak pre-6, she Q, Es, then not much else.
Take warlords and use mr blues.
The last thing you want is so get shoved to your turret. Push early.
Scaling Mr runes. Have a supp who can engage and jump on her
Dodge q, walk out of e as quick as you can, and fight when her stuff is on cool down. She takes a lot of mana so if she burns through missed qs, she'll be worthless.
Hard engage the lux
Dodge Q and poke/harass if you can. Otherwise, stay behind minions. Get used to her ranges and speed of her spells. This will improve your ability to dodge her spells. If you can push the wave, she has much less room to maneuver for spells while under turret. Just remember to get some wards up so you don't get ganked if you do this.
