Banner of Command Buff?

I think the Banner of Command item 3060 is a really interesting item, which is definitly not viable at all. I think it should be buffed in any way. What is your opinion on that item?

Banner is fine. It is one of two items you can grab for Zyra (the other being MoreJelloNami-con) and is great for Heimerdinger. The stats it gives for the costs is pretty crazy actually.

It shouldn't give CDR. There are so many CDR items and it had to complete with all of them because of the CDR cap. It would be nice if it have some different stats, remade to suit a class besides support. Since mages have the most access to pets (Zyra, Heim, Annie, Malz etc.) Heavier AP would be pretty great. Maybe another AP and health item? NLR and Ruby or something.

The main problem is that Grail overshadows BoC in its intended niche, pushing power. Grail gives Mana Regen that lets you spam abilities to clear waves while only losing a measly 20 AP. Champions who don't have good waveclear in their kit or don't really need the regen can still get it and push really well, it's just that Grail is more universally useful. tl;dr nerf Grail

I love banner. I use the active in my lane then roam for kills, or if you're Annie, Heimer, or Malz, the passive works great.

It definitely could be better, but on some Champions it is very good. Heimerdinger, Elise and Zyra come to mind.

It is niche, and not meant for everyone. But yes, it could afford a minor buff.

Heimerdinger Approves this post.

Lets all be honest here; Right now the real name for this item is Banner of the Donger. He is the only person who can really utilize this item and it's active to the fullest. I would go so far to say that it is core on him as a second or third item offensively.

Removing the CDR and increasing the AP or adding HP sounds fine when approached from an item standpoint, but consider that this item is literally one of the most niche items in the game. It's an item meant to help Mages push without giving them AoE on ability hit like some sort of spell based Tamat/hydra. It makes stalemated lanes swing in the purchaser's favor.

I think alot of people highly underestimate this item and it's cost effectiveness, as currently the only items in the game more cost efficient are Seraph's/Muramana. That isn't even on champs like the donger that milk this item, this is any AP mage next to a minion wave.
