Are you still enjoying the game?

It feels so frustrating to me.... The recent changes have made the game completely unforgiving, you can't make any mistakes or you will lose. Instead of being balanced, most of the champs are now average, but go absolutely broken under certain conditions which feels stupid and frustrating. The game seems to be designed purely for high level play and is getting boring and frustrating for casual players. Games are no longer enjoyable to play because you are under so much pressure that you cant possibly have fun. Even LCS has become boring, with most games being extremely similar and having hardly any kills, but if one team makes a mistake, they are almost certain to lose. Games end before they can even be surrendered because the advantages you gain make a comeback impossible unless the enemy throws hard. Please Riot think about the casual players. If youre going to stay wiht your design philosophy of season 6, then atleast make another more relaxed game mode. I love the game, but I hate playing it right now.

I concur entirely; it used to be a casual teamgame, but as they've started balancing for 'pros' it's become too tense to be enjoyable. I used to play over 10 games a day, but anymore I find it's bothersome just to play a few games a week. Like you said, with games snowballing out of control from first-blood, comebacks are nigh impossible; between towers being more useless than decoration, & shutdown gold being negligible, it's not worth playing from behind anymore. Early game champs curbstomp late game champions nearly across the board; tanks can't get any durability while assassins can solo entire teams, and mages can't gain any power fast enough to compete with the carries. This idea of cycling which class is overpowered, is a huge mistake instead of trying to keep the playing field level; it's fairly obvious comparing seasons 2 & 3 with seasons 5 & 6, both in 'pro' games and in common gameplay. With the stakes being forcefully raised, hostility has likewise escalated; but without the tribunal anymore, they get to do as they please. Courteous team players are all but nonexistent these days.

I agree that if they don't; change their design philosophy, or add more relaxed gametypes; they'll loose players.

I think frustrating is a perfect word for it...

Although, I will say, I have taken the "ok we are down, this is what we need to do..." role on my team as of late...and its amazing what a little direction will do in this game. Have had several comebacks off of this...the trick is you can't "WTF I SAID DON'T DO THAT DO THIS...". To keep the children happy, you have to be more like "Hey good try, next time I wouldn't try to solo him, he has a solid build right now. Lets get wards and force team fights in our base under turrets" type thing.

I've been having lots of fun climbing with a duo, we just keep each other in check and make sure to ignore worthless teammates. Uncarriable games exist, you just have to improve from them.
