I have no idea why so many things have been undone or contradicted
I have no idea why so many things lately are contradicting what has been said/done ....
this is what i mean
DFG: removed in patch 5.2 an item that is used on an enemy to temporarly increase damage they take .... removed simply because it was used on champions such as veigar LB annie etc who are already bursty to just deal overloaded damage .. champion balance was defined around this item ... removed so balance can actually be around the champion and not items.... yet here we are ..... champions building duskblade and sometimes stormrazer to give them overloaded damage in their kit ....... why ?..... remove these items so shaco and most champs that build these items can be properly balanced around their kit....
I rememer in a dev blog how one of their core things of making a champion successful is being fun/fair to play against..... how is it fun/fair for zoe to cowar behind a wall and play extra safe to give extra range on her E to allow for a longer Q to deal more damage again.... wheres the fun and being fair against this.. i remember nidalee was reworked purely for being rewarded for playing safer... why was this playstyle brought back with extra onto a champ?..... how is it fair a zed can deal more than half your HP with one rotation of W E Q ? and with duskblade how is it fair he can OS with W E Q auto proccing duskblade and electrocute ..... he used to be reliant on his ult to kill ... it would feel amazing to play zed and just shadow away as you see the death mark ready to kill now his ult is just a mere dodging tool .... how is it fair for divers such as jarvan and wu dive in with oh waist again duskblade OS you and run away .... My own personal thought too... mana potions removed so champions mana pool/regen can be balanced around the champion.... what was the purpose of mana band? this just contradicted the removal of mana potions
this game is just kill first or be killed ... which i remember was also said ....... a game shouldnt be won on champion choice it should be won on outplaying .... well to me it just seems exactly that.... what works best with conqueror what works best with dusklabe ... id rather have a slow game where i can outplay and actually think about how i can win rather than a 15 min game and just have the game decide on how can i kill that guy before they kill me
Id really like to see a discussion from riot it feels like the comminuty is being ignored......... Yes i know things are said that can be hard to please us such as when it was tank meta people got fed up of not being able to kill tanks or dying to tanks ..... how divers cant be played .... this game is just you get this or you get that its your choice.... but in reality its not it just needs a proper discussion both from riot and the community .... tanks should be able to absrb damage and not hurt so much unless your a juggernaut which can build deadmans and glory ....divers should be able to dive in and survive .. not being able to oneshot as easily as assasins .... assasins should be rewarded gretaly for being able to kill their opponents but not with little counterplay thought and stategy should be inserted for explample before katarins rework it was "right can i go in for the kill" not yet as a Malzahar may have ult .... not ok my stuff is it im just gonna go in quickly and jump out .... supports should be rewarded greatly for buffing their allies ... saving lives etc...... yes overloaded shield/heal meta was annoying but its what supports should be doing ... denying kills if possible debuffing enemies and buffing allies..... if people are complaining about a champions job role the question should be asked "is this champion doing its job" if so great thats what they should be doing followed up with "how easily are they doing the job though"
