Lebron put up 60 points but his team plays poorly and only puts up say 20. The enemy team doesn't really have a super solid player aka carry and altogather puts up 100. He still loses regardless of the fact that he scored 60 points. As the coach your not going to shame lebron and tell him you played like shit its you fault your team lost. He put up 60, and he did his part to win the game. His team did not perform that well and altogether only scrounged up 20. Hows lebron aka solo quer supposed to win if is team isnt performing. Maybe in some cases the team he plays against isnt that good and his 60 is enough but in most cases that won't be the case. Its a "TEAM" game for a reason. Even if your"a god" if a team that your placed with performs poorly for whatever reason (feeding, communication, assholes, etc) Your not going to win. Aslo dont just say" thats where you belong/be better". That doesn't tell me anything. In fact that just is enraging. No explanation just" be better/ your not good enough" ill put my match history again as well http://www.lolskill.net/summoner/NA/RagnarockDoom/matches and obviously in the games where i played bad i played bad but specifically my tristana games are whats bugging me.

Good thing Lebron and his team play 82 games a season. If Lebron is putting up 60 points consistently every single game, his team is bound to get carried by him most of the time - and there's a smaller chance the enemy team has a Lebron putting up 60 points on their side.

I believe part of the issue relies also on what position you are playing and what champion you are playing. For example, if you are playing in the jungle, as Maokai, it can be harder to carry a game because you aren't playing in a position or as a champion designed to carry a game.

On the other hand, if you are a Vayne, twitch, etc, those characters are designed to carry a game so its a bit easier. Strategy and composition become more and more important as you rise in ranks. It is why Lee Sin is poor in Bronze, but fairs very well in Diamond and up. Some champs/positions only do as well as the team enables them to be.

Sometimes killing everything and hard carrying is enough to win the game, sometimes it's not. In general I would say that the best way to carry is from mid or jungle, where you can bank other lanes and get your teammates fed as well.

A big difference between bronze and higher elo though is the ability to get a lead and translate that lead into meaningful objectives like tower pushes, Dragons, Barons and just general map control. Which is how you win games. Getting kills isn't how you win games, using those kills to take control of the game is how you win. Your analogy to basketball isn't a good reference in this way.

Also the biggest thing in rising in solo q is consistency.

in the one example you have one person carring more then their weight but 4 others not doing their part. This happens some games but should not happen many games. As a result if you can consistently put up 50 points or more in a game while the average person puts up 20 you will move up. But you will not win every game.

Actually, in a way, you do. See, Lebron may have been the one to put it in the basket, but it is a team effort.

It happens. But over time, it will happen just as much to the teams you're playing against. If you're consistently losing games (you'd have a sub-40/45% win rate), then maybe you should check yourself. Otherwise just don't let it get to you. I had to do my promos to Gold I three times because one lane or the other lost pretty hard. After I eventually made it through promos I went on to win 4 more games in a row.

Also, stop with the Napoleon complex. This title is just gonna draw in 'haters' for lack of a better word.

League isnt CoD where whoever gets the most points win. Even if a team has half the points they can still win because objectives are more important.
