Help a New Ka'Sai player?

I just started playing lol and I have picked up Ka'Sai because she is the only character I can do semi good with. When I tried duo queuing, I got completely obliterated, mostly in early game. Does anyone have any tips on how to play Ka'Sai early game, or overall?
