Yasuo isn't the problem, it's Yasuo with Frozen Mallet
Frozen Mallet right now is in a very unhealthy position. I see every supposed-to-be-squishy champion using mallet and they become impossible to kite or kill. I see Teemo getting Mallet as the core item now instead of full AP/DMG. The issue is the item balancing. Tri-Force is now an overwhelming item, paired with Frozen Mallet, paired with Fervor Keystone, and paired with Gage, it becomes an unstoppable force. Then slap in a Deadmans and Merc treads, what you gonna do? They have too much HP to burst and have too much resistance to DPS while still having 2.0 attack speed, insane mobility, and high base damages from Tri-Force.
For Mages it's the RoA, Deathcap, Hourglass, Abyssal, and Crystal Scepter paired together that's creating unhealthy games. Everybody's doing so much damage to compensate for all the tank items, while all the new items that are giving damage are also tank items making people who build full damage obsolete. Mage items now also include CDR into the Tank/Damage items making them very strong, while the damage items also all give tank stats. Why would I build IE, Triforce, and Hydra and die in 2 seconds to somebody who has Gage, Mallet, and Triforce? These problems need to be address from the roots.
