Riot, if you're so concerned about Kog's poke-

-why not just turn his Ult into an actual artillery skillshot like Resolute Smite instead of mucking about with this awful execute nonsense?

By adjusting the missile speed, you could make it take a bit longer to reach its maximum range than it presently does on live. This would give players a bit more time to react to it and a better idea of where it's coming from. Kog would be able to land it more easily at close to medium ranges, encouraging Spellblade weaving and putting Kog at a bit more risk without making Kog players feel like their R is a waste of mana.

Because let's be honest here.

I don't think anyone actually enjoys the new Ult. Making it into an artillery skillshot would be a compromise that Kog players can actually get behind.
