Diana and where to go.

Hello everyone. I'm a long standing Diana main and I've having quite a bit of trouble this season. I've player her as a main for three years plus and have always done well. I'm not the greatest player now(Low Gold), but every method I've tested so far seems to be "Meh". In the jungle if I go full ap assassin, it takes awhile to get to her power spike. If someone comes into my jungle they can pretty much out-dual me if they're AD just on stats alone. Example. I had an Aether Wisp on top of my starting jungle items and full health. A khaz with just starting items walks in and completely out damages me with no buffs while I have double buffs. After playing many assassin type games I determined that most of the time the risk/reward of the play style wasn't worth it. I do have a few good games when I take her mid, but in the jungle it's always worse.

After determining that assassin Diana wasn't really in a good place this season I started looking up how some of the best Diana players are running her. Everyone seemed to be using CoC rather than TLD, and I studied a few builds. After playing it, I have zero burst and aren't half as tanky as other champs who destroy me. Then Right as I started playing they nerfed CoC.

To get to the point, where is Diana excelling this season? Do you think she's in a bad place, and do you think the risk/reward of her current state is worth playing in ranked. Also what types of comps do you like to play her against?
