I Hate This New Champ Select

Why do we HAVE to lock in our champions for one. Is picking it not enough? Then add onto the fact that it never bring the client to the front when you are picking until you hear the god awful countdown noise.

There has been so much resentment towards this new lock in feature. Why are you so adamant about keeping it?
