If you're the ADC and intend to just play passive until a certai point, please let your support know

Just had a game where the ADC decided they did not want to fight until they were level 9. Told us about that plan 10 minutes in after we died already a few times where they just kept farming and didn't help in fights/ganks. Communication is very important. So if you plan on just AFK farming as the ADC you HAVE to let the team know in champion select.
