How to Counter Pick

I'm a relatively new player (less than 50 ranked wins) but I am starting to get the hang of it and posting consistently >55% win when I get Jinx or Brand. I'm hearing people at higher levels counter pick certain lanes. Now I notice that I completely dump on a mid melee when I pick Brand but I can be hurt by poke.

So my question is, is there a resource that has some information on counter picks? I don't really have the time to play hundreds of games with various champions and build my own opinions. I just want to put myself in the best possible chance to win and keep my teammates happy.

PS - I main ADC and I know that the counter-comping isn't as strong there as a top or mid lane.

It's better to pick someone you know how to play even if they are the countered one instead of trying to play the counter you have no idea how to play.

champion.gg is a decent website though

counterpicks aren't relevant until like mid/high diamond, don't bother.

Just pay 3 Blue mana and use Cancel. That counters almost everything!

The funny thing is counter picks dont matter much until higher ELO's kinda like Goldish. if you see that a champion counters yours you will be timid and I think its best to go into it just like a regular game just playing how you know while being cautious. I've had games where I'll counter someone but it might be hard just because the other player might not know they are being countered
