How is the matchmaking worked for ARAM?
I see a lot of games I am matched with with plats and diamonds , yet I am silver.
When the other team has high elo - there wasn’t anyone on our team above low gold...
What’s the algorithm?

MMR doesn't cross between queues except very loosely.
They're Diamond, yes. But they don't have a Diamond-level MMR in ARAM. They have a silver MMR there, because they just don't play it often enough.
Besides, just because they're Diamond doesn't mean they're going to do well. RNG plays a huge part in ARAM, because even if you get a broken champion you won't win if you're bad at that champ. You can also just be out-comped or counter-comped, get fucked over by a lucky Blitz hook, or the rest of your team can just be bad/uncooperative.
