Ashe and Kog'maw post

Before to start i just wanted to show my own opining about what they lost and make them bad to play. Fell free to comment if do you think that i'm wrong or i'm right.

Ashe She was a very nice adc to play. She wasn't a Burst adc or a mobile one, she fit into utility adc class. item 3508 was a very nice item to build on her (30% cdr,20% Crit chance,AD), playing her with essence reaver make players able to support their team by W/E/R cd down. Now she fell bad compared to before. Her utility identity has get a big indirect nerf since item 3508 has been reworked to a lucian item. The lost of crit chance on essence reaver, make a very situational (if not totally useless) item for ashe. She was able to grab that as first item and then support her team. She's now forced to grab crit atk speed item (which fell bad must because her dps is kinda low compared to other adc). Her W was nerfed because she was able to get cd reduction in her build (V6.18 Volley Cooldown increased to 15 / 12.5 / 10 / 7.5 / 5 seconds from 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 / 4). Now she's unable to build that unless really lategame as a situational item. Even if she would get CDR in the later phase, her W would deal no damage (it's a early poke spell and a utility mid/late) but the other champs as almost max their mobility spell which make the W cd even after cdr weak. She can't burst with crit so she's unable to build item 3095 so she has to be forced to build item 3153 in all the possible case. Now ashe is played as a DPS adc (her build is similar to twitch) but she still fell weak most because item 3095 user deal way more damage and item 3153 user deny her ability to harass with her long aa range plus deal way more damage in all the phase of the game (twitch and vayne for example even tho they could use stormrazor aswell or even lucian deal more damage than her in late game). Xayah is suffering from the same ashe issue (item 3508 change), but at least she's still able to trade on early pattern with her E and can clear wawe faster and also she work well with item 3095 and her passive.

KogMaw This guy fell a little more nerfed than ashe but at least he still deal more dps than her. This champs has getting several undirect nerf with only a direct one (W damage on later phase reduced from 7% to 6%). He's supposed to be a lategame monster with mixed damage. He should be a tank shread machine and a team fight monster. Let's start with this item 3124. Kog'maw has always abused this item when it became an atk speed item (The version with a tiamat incorpored and the version with phantom hit). We can adress that this item is the core item on kog'maw nowadays (which give to him a nerf to his %hp damage on his W) This item was a must buy for three reason : Good early game item, AP scaling, on hit sinergy. We can totally adress that it shouldn't be a early game item so riot reworked it to be a scaling item, but doing that they nerfed the ap ratio on hit making it a build ap for getting ap rather than build on hit to get on hit. He totally loved that ap ratio on it since he has 4 ap ratio (counting all the ult ap/ad ratio as 1) and 1 ad ratio (which is on his ult that's an execution). Getting guinshoo would mean a 1% ap hp damage (which turned him to be 7%+1% pre nerf and 6%+1% after nerf). Also the base stat helped him to grab On hit item without losing damage such as item 3153 item 3091. Now he's forced to build AD for getting damage since he deal less damage with on hit stuff (even tho he would still get botrk just because it give ad and atk speed). I don't dislike that he has to build AD item rather than on hit but i think if he got at least another AD ratio would make him fell better to build AD items. item 3091 This item was nerfed/buffed but as too many weakness that make it poorly to build on kog'maw. building up 30 stack (i think 18 is enough) with only 3 stack on hit is hard to get. It require a tons of atk speed and item 3124 alredy builded but as i alredy said, it's better to get an AD item with guinsoo now rather than an on hit item mostly because it deal way more damage. Even tho he has all ap ratio, he scale really bad with ap/atk speed item such as item 3115. His W ap ratio is nice when combided with a low ap but it's not rewarding when getting high ap value. In the late game, Ap kog maw would get something around 13-14% max hp (Which similar value can be reached with item 3153 item 1419 aswell) so as an ap on hit, he fell bad compared to Varus Kaisa. The fleet footwalk nerf make his early game too much riskier (which i personally agree). The crit nerf has hit kog'maw aswell. Even tho he's supposed to be a on hit champ, he suffer like other adc from the crit change so this weakness can be excluded. The upcoming of lane bully such as DravenLucianEzreal MissFortune Swain didn't help him and also the item 3095 user (which they aren't suppose to do) are pretty dominant in the early/mid game rather than him (Jinx Jhin Caitlyn Draven). As an immobile late game adc, he suffer from the support nerf aswell. But i think he suffer the most from that since other adc has at least one escaping tool or defensive tool (Jinx at least has her E). He has nothing so he has to flash out or watch him to be oneshot by a random assasin. Even if i know that KogMaw Lulu is disgusting when viable, i fell like kog maw is one of the most (if not the most) meta reliant champ in the game. His power come if the enemy as tank champ and/or if he has a enchanter as support. Right now tank are barely play even after the tank buff (assassin still dominate the rift mostly because compensated buff such as item 3147 "Nerf") and enchanter are still viable but mostly overshadowed by mage support (Fiddlesticks Brand ) or all in support (Leona Alistar ) which bot isn't really helping to peel him from flanking. At least Sona and Nami but other champs synergyse better than him.
