I know this was changed in patch 5.22 but playing with it feels like you are putting a handicap on it.... why do i say this because the 2 gold per 10 was removed of the finial item. i find it unfair for certain types of supports, due to the fact that face of the mountain gives 2 gold per 10 to tank supports, and even those riskey poke supports like lulu and sona can take frost queen's claim ... like i want to know the math on how much gold each gets when it has the most efficiency because it just seems like taking the 2 gold per 10 away from Talisman of Ascension just makes it an enviable item. i would like to see the gold gen put back on it so supports like janna and raka can acutally keep up with the gold gen of the other items.

Talisman was given extra gold on the amount you get from each minions death. Talisman is a safer item to take when you are a poke/sustain support, and therefore :

High risk (AKA frost queens claim) = potential higher return Low risk or Talisman = lower, but more stable potential return.

The only reason Janna takes ancient coin is due to that it is a safer item because it can be hard for her to get the same amount of gold out of other alternatives as she can't always force trades. At the same time the reason she takes the frost queen path is due to that she needs it to provide lane pressure.

i understand that it gives gold per minion death on talisman but like frost queens give 15 gold for ever poke stacking to 3 times thats 45 gold when at frost queens plus the 2 gold per 10 and talisman gives 6 gold per minion times 6 thats 36gold per wave with no gold per 10.... from that stand point it just makes talisman a bad item and unfair to champs like soraka and janna etc

Yes but consider how bad of positioning most champs must have to be able to utilize the passive from frost queens. The only champion that can really abuse the item early is morg support simply because they can just place a pool and collect gold.

Again, the bad positioning that one must have to use frost queens to its full potential can make you very open to getting killed. Whereas coin has a huge range on its gold generation that will always get you a stable amount of gold.
