My thoughts on preseason and state of League in general

Just some thoughts that are going through my head. Keep in mind that I myself dont know how to fix some these problems I just want to point out that they ARE problems. Also keep in mind that I peaked Diamond 4 so take it with a grain of salt as I might not be right in some points.

New bounties

I can see why new bounties were introduced. It a genius counter against proxy Singeds and INT Sions. On the other hand why do you punish someone for CS'ing well? I am one of few players that prefer individual skill over teamplay so this was a huge slap in the face. When you outfarm a champion like Viktor, then you get shutdown and all of your effort went to shit... Makes me wanna go commit deathspacito.

Mages

So I dont know what to do about mages but something is wrong. These days they need are 1-2 items and they start to snowball like crazy. I think that Cooldown reduction is way too accessible being on many mage items. Champs like LB or Kass or Vik that have weak early game so they roam bot to avoid laning and get to that 2nd item to do some real damage. (THATS ALOT OF DAMAGE). New turret plating counters roaming a little bit but its not enough.

Broken champs and items

So Id like to start this with saying that I have no problem with fighting "Broken" with "Broken". Problems emerge when theres more than 10 broken champs. Not a few so you could ban them but also not too many so you could fight Akali with another broken champ. Champs I list below stick out to me the most. There are champs like Jayce that are also broken but dont stick out as much.

First off Akali. Akali has been getting alot of hate lately and I think we all know why. If youre skilled ranged you can sorta survive laning phase but then suffer in late game. If youre meele..... well good luck. First thing that comes to my mind is her W. Nerfing that would make her weaker but wouldnt balance her. In my opinion her healing on Q needs to be removed. She still has trade potential but loses sustain which is in my opinion fair.

Next on the chopping block is Irelia :). If you pick melee she will poke you down and lvl 7-9 all in you. If you pick ranged then she will farm with E and lvl 6 all in you because generally ranged player have weaker defensive stats especially armor. Those Q's are insane. I have no idea how to balance her in a fair way but something needs to be done.

Sion is another one that stands out to me. Id put him in the same bracket as Ornn(buying in lane is very much not fun). Farm and wait until mid game. Thats not fun. Completly denies all bruisers. GP/Gnar/Vik are very good against him but thats just a way around, not a solution.

Karthus is a champ I dont see very often in my elo but seeing many pro players struggle against her (or abuse her) makes me wanna throw up. Spellbinder plus R is nasty with no interaction or counterplay. Runnining into the enemy team, pressing Zhonya and then ulting after you die is also no fun. I think that not being able to E while Zhonya or not being able to Ult after death would fix her. All and all..suicide Karthus shouldnt be a thing.

So another thing that I think is stupid is having multiple CC on one champ... Liss, Rakan, Leona, Sion . Maybe its not a big deal but in my opinion point and click CC and multiple CC champions make the game not fun. Getting CC'ed on bot lane for 6 seconds while youre ignited and enemy ADC or APC shreds your hp makes me want to go commit deathspacito.

Stormrazor also makes no sense to me. Guaranteed crits make no sense to me. The whole "Crit" needs a rework. New IE makes adcs useless and enables mages on bottom.

Runes

I wont write an essay about Darkharvest.....Just rework it or remove it. Enables champs like Brand.. They said that with the new runes they want to give champions multiple paths and ways to play the game. They literally did the exact oposite. Conquerer, Electrocute, Aftershock, Summon Aery, Klepto and now Darkharvest. Some champions take different runes but they would be just fine with one of these. They make snowbally champs snowball harder, tanky champs tankier, they give way too much sustain and make supports broken. Conquerer is just a way for bruisers to deal with tanks. Most of them are a MUST not a choice. Goodluck for example playing Riven with Electrocute against Ornn with Aftershock. Either completly remove runes or gives us multiple keystones or rework them.
