WHy doesnt the client pop up now when its my turn to pick a champion?

You can't just sit through and pay attention to champion select? It's actually somewhat important, last I checked. I understand alt tabbing while waiting in queue, but not the pregame lobby before you pick your champ.

It may be a minor feature they didn't feel was important to implement atm. I recall reading through an Ask Riot article and they basically stated that they are trying to get the most important features into the new client first so they can transition over asap. Currently anything they create, they have to make twice (and anything that's on the existing client has to be recreated from scratch), so they want to get everything that's important onto the new client while upping its performance on lower end machines, ditch the old client, and then they can start focusing their attention on making the minor details for the new client that were part of the old client, or even new additions.
