Write Your ThoughtsSion sion was rework but was never broken. Riot reworked a fun champ instead of just giving us a new one.Soraka is the same way. she used to be more then just a support now that's about all she can do. I want my old sion back

Sion now is more fun than ever. He actually has a skill cap. If you want to play a champion that AA all day there are plenty others like Olaf tryn, xin, trundle, udyr, etc.

Haha no Sion rework was needed his old kit was terrible and was either and was incrediably broken with as AD or a half assed burst mage that took no brains to use. his model was also crap voice over outdated shitty particles

Old Sion had so many problems.

I disagree, FULL AD SORAKA is still good as well as FULL AP soraka support soraka only seems like the only one that works is because you (and others) trap yourself in failure, don't trap yourself in meta it won't make meta-breaking work.

Old Sion was fun yes, but he was... disjointed? he didn't fit in meta his model was clunky and there was no... decent? typical? reasonable? with sion you had a kit that had 1 ability that is the greatest tank ability ever, a way to get more health per CS and a decent cool-down shield, but with your ultimate you had the greatest bruiser ability ever, you gave your team more damage and LS based on your damage and then with your stun and shield you had a great AP scaling possibility

basically sion had no identity he was ok at pretty much everything but good for nothing, while fun to play had no actual identity beyond being the "slow clunky guy who has the crap particles." I can't claim i know everything about sion, i'm still barely a first-year leaguer but i will stand by my point in that Sion is actually as Good tank as to good for nothing.

I agree with f the meta. sions rework is a brand new dude as far as aa I think where trying to get ret of it shame. cause sion had on of the best.

Reworks sometimes suck that's correct, but I disagree in the case of Sion personally.

While I still have a little gripe about how Riot is systematically removing all lock on spells which also happened to Sion, but overall it's a top quality rework. It captures his central ideas well and he is for the most part, fun to play with and against unlike his old counterpart which the fun was heavily 1 sided depending on circumstances.

So I like the new Sion.

...how was Sion 'fucked up'? His lore screamed 'Juggernaut' but his best builds were pure AP (WHY THE FUCK IS THE VICIOUSLY STRONG AND POWERFUL JUGGERNAUT BUILDING LIKE A MAGE AND SHOOTING EYE BEAMS?) or pure AD. Additionally, his gameplay was EXTREMELY binary; as AP he walked up with W, Q'd you, then burst W and walked away. You had no way to counter him outside of never being in range, and Sion was basically useless past 15 minutes or if his opponent bought any MR item. As AD, he literally farmed for 40+ minutes, then waddled into range and autoattack drain tanked and hoped he lived. He had almost no active skills as AD (Shield was useless, stun was only for getting in range, and E+R were both passive effects that buffed his autoattacks) and his entire damage was useless if you had any form of peel. He was a horribly unfocused kit that did not ever satisfy what his lore promised.

Sure, new Sion is extremely different. He's also not a shitty 2 button kit that is either useless past 15 or useless until 40.
