Vi - Patch Rundown
Well, they finally did it. They crossed the line. They took my favorite champion in the game and nerfed her. Here is a rundown of what Riot did to make Vi more balanced nerf Vi.
"Movement Speed Down, R damage down at early and mid ranks."
- Movement Speed Change:
350 Movement Speedto 345 Movement Speed (Don't you love how you could strike-through words? I love these new forums!) ("...said no one ever" - Jinx) - Nerfed The Dunk: Physical Damage:
200/325/450to 150/300/450 (This is counted as a nerf because even though the end result is the same and the scaling is bigger, Riot is reducing the chance in which Vi could be come unstoppable or should I say... they are prolonging the chance soNoobs...could catch up and get on my level. (Master Yi...)).
***The Explanation given to us by Riot is to "...even the odds." so basically, they are sugar-coating the fact that they are reducing Vi's abilities so she can't push through and chase enemies quicker. Playing Vi for an adequate amount of time means that I know Vi's main roles and her strengths and weaknesses. The role that she can play are Fighter (Her Primary Role) and Assassin (Her Secondary Role) which in turn gives her a +2 for jungling and ganking. She tends to fall short only if she is denied farm (the old fashion way) or harassed too much (a bit like the first option except a bit more raging). ***
