Rune Pages

I'm new to the game, and I'm just learning the grasps of rune pages and in depth builds, it seems quite unfair that you are forced to purchase rune pages passed the two initial free ones. You're forced to buy literally everything else in the game with BE and RP, and it's super unfriendly to new players to give them the disadvantage of having to buy all of this when a proper rune page for a character can make the difference between playing well and feeding. I should be able to at least remove/edit base game rune pages OR unlock a rune page every now and then through leveling.

Once you learn all the runes and get used to what your champion uses, you can make rune pages pretty much on the fly. If you really want more, it's just the cost of a new champion to get another one. Save up your BE or drop five bucks to have the extra slot.

It's a free to play game. I would understand your frustrations if you couldn't make any rune pages without paying, but that's not the case. You have 2 fully customizable pages that can be edited at any time. You're just paying for convenience.

Well, when I'm playing I have a rune page called Test and this is the one I edit for every champ who doesn't have a rune page. So, set it up in champ select. When you know the game a bit more you can make a rune page you want in 5 sec or so.

You're correct in your idea, but it's Riot way to make money. I think at the least they could after more free pages and still sell them with the vast amount of player styles, but it is what it is.
