Where is mister Du Couteau?

Will he ever be released into League of Legends? Will we ever find out what happened to him? Will we ever get some more detail about the story behind the League of Legends characters? If so, will that story have some influence on the Gameplay? Personally, I find it sad, that there is so much unused potential around this stuff. What is your opinion about that? Could any Riot employee maybe answer some of the questions above?
