Why take brand mid
Asking a question here. Why take brand mid with all the assasin champions that one shot you because brand always goes full ap. Why not go top and wreck it because your passive deals % max hp?

If you go Brand top, what stops all the assassin champs from playing top too?
Not to mention these two champions who appear top when they aren't banned. 
Top laners have better defenses, so your poke will be less effective. And top laners are much better suited to rushing Maw or Adaptive Helm than assassins.
And, like assassins, fighters have the ability to close the distance and kill you with base damage because you're squishy. That's why you don't take Ziggs, Xerath, or Lux top either.
Because top champs have been being taken mid and in some cases jung and supp... while mid laners have been going top for that very reason: easier counters.
Honestly the amount of times that i can win lane as Mordekaiser simply because nobody uses him top, and so nobody knows how to play against him is funny.
Plus, i have beat some of the things that are taken top to be annoying, with a normal top laner, simply because i know how to play against that champ due to playing in multiple roles and playing every champ so i know how they work.
Brand mid works well tho , most of melee assassins got troubles with farming and usually need to melee auto attack caster minion when brand can just W all those casters to push the wave and harass and it's pretty easy to land a stun as Brand since most of assassins are easy to read for brand
i thik the key thing that top lane mages have is peel. sure brand has his stun but if it misses he's done for. whereas teemo, kennen, cassio, ryze all have either built in peel or can use phase rush well.
Please abuse tank Brand until they nerf it.
