Why almost every new champion seems OP at first

For the first few weeks of a champion's existence, people who are playing as him have, on average, more experience and knowledge of his kit and combos than people who are playing against him.

It happened for Yasuo Kalista Lucian RekSai Gnar Azir Jinx and even Braum, so it's not that surprising that it is happening again with Ekko (no pun intended).

Except Bard, because he really was released that badly underpowered, that even knowing how to play him, you were still useless against people who didn't have a clue what you could do.

Even Aatrox was considered OP at first, until people figured out how to deal with him, and now he's on the trash heap.

well you see, rexai is still op, gnar is still op, azir was nerfed into the ground but still op, jinx still op, kalista still at least fucking annoying, yasuo designed in a way that hes either too good or too bad with an impossible in between, and currently hes just the latter.

so, well, you see, ekko doesnt seem op. he is op. what he seems to be is fucking ridiculously designed by the same dull frog who designed rexai and kalista. whoever that was.

Na, most these champs are either too op or too weak, since their kits are what is broken about them. Champs like Yasuo are too strong on release, until nerfed to the ground. It isn't people learning to play against them, it is rito releasing OP shit so that people buy it, and then nerfing it later.

Or... because those champions were nerfed? Even multiple times since 1 nerf wasn't enough. Even your example of Aatrox, he was nerfed a couple or so patches after release.
