I don't get why they didn't sell announcer packs yet, I mean we had GP, dark star thresh, and SG ahri, they might as well make them marketable.

IMO they could do that + make announcer packs with future champions at release, it'd be really cool to hear your main announce stuff.

HotS actually gives them away as rewards in leveling chests. I thought Riot was heading down that road but nope. I just get champion shards even though I own all the champions.

Ahri announcer back from the star guardian event was so good, my favorite quote was , the enemy is toast dead . why do you have to listen to this boring old lady every single game we should have the right to chose our announcer [sg-ahri-2]

I wonder if it has something to do with them not hiring on voice actors. Smite makes a ton of skins and nearly all of them have new VO, Blizz I know has their OW and WOW actors on semi permanently. I'm fairly certain with Riot they just kinda hire people for new champs or legendaries and hope they can get the same people back later. That's probably why like half the champions still have contradictory VO to their lore.

Voice packs for Champion mastery 8 and required honor level 5 for f2p as well as RP packs in store would be dope.

Fuck Veigar i need poro announcer packs. Just imagine a poro excitedly purring over a pentakill! Although if you want actual reason: they wouldn't be team wide and you can alrwady install custom voice packs. So there's no actual point.

Riot doesn't do a lot of things that other Mobas do... so no use in telling them.

Probably they just focused on something else to do.

I mean, think about it. Why the hell buy announcer packs when you can set up your own backgound music most of the time? Maybe some people like it, but there isn't much fancy goign on.
