Muting people in pregame

Why can't we have an option much like all chat just to turn off chat fully. even if that is not possible can we make a way to mute people pregame. I swear if i did not have to see the text people write pregame i wouldn't be chat banned so often.

Muting people ingame usually solves this issue, but what is the reason to be forced to read the garbage my team is spewing pregame about an opp.gg or other nonsense? [sg-ahri-1]

...lol? I play with my runes. I wish I could help with that problem though. I would make that a habit either though, they could have some decent minded strategy in their head. not amazing but good.
