Taliyah vs Twisted Fate

Let me start by saying yes I am a bit biased towards Taliyah because she is my favorite champion. I love her gameplay, I love her theme and I love her lore. That being said after all of the nerfs shes gotten it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the likes of Twisted Fate (someone also designed to be a roaming mid lane mage) hasn't gotten the same sort of nerf hammer.

Comparing the two they both are roaming AP mid laners that are made to push the lane then go help in other areas of the map. So why has Taliyah's Q been nerfed towards minions while TF's Wild Cards remain untouched on the damage side and less skill based to use over all? It doesnt stop there however TF's kit overall has more reliable CC, a much easier and less telegraphed ult, about as much damage (If not more potential damage) than Taliyah's with half the skill required.

I made this just to bring up the problem I have with these two because currently I see no reason to take Taliyah over TF. I'm not asking for Taliyah's old E damage back or to get rid of the crap that is vector casting all im asking is that she gets some type of bonus damage to minions on her Q back because currently, unless you build straight damage and nothing else, it feels VERY weak during the laning phase, it takes two full Q cast to clear out the minion wave and thats going into mid/late game, which feels so bad considering hardly any other mage has to deal with that (Let alone Worked Ground basically nerfing yourself). If anything make it so minions on worked ground take more bonus damage at the very least. Hell giving her abilites bonus damage against champions on worked ground wouldnt be a bad idea, it would make us Taliyah players feel good about placing worked ground in certain areas of the map.

I'll admit tfs q is I believe the only move in the game that does full damage when piercing . I would gladly nerf it to increase his auto attack range

You've got to understand that Taliyah has more mobility than TF. She has more ways to escape than TF. She has more reliable poke than TF. She has more utility than TF.

They both have their pros and cons. You can't revert Taliyah to anywhere remotely close to her previous levels of power, else TF becomes a worthless pick when compared to her.
